The storm is coming and changing the landscape.
Painting: The Storm, acrylic on Canvas, 9 H x 9.8 W x 0.6 in
Less abstract, more surrealistic. This relatively small canvas packs a punch. I like how dramatic it feels. It’s a take on all those typical paintings of the horizon with sailboats coming ashore. But in this scenario with mostly primary colors (blue, yellow and red) and nothing is how it’s supposed to be, different shapes and textures, like the cracks on the melted waves and so on. For me, it creates a feeling of desperation when a Storm is approaching.
